George Favale

I met George for the first time in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in September 2007. We got together again in October 2008 when we did a epic three week journey through Utah. Looking forward to our next cup of tea in a wonderful location.

Bill Gercken

I also met Bill at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Bill couldn't do the full three weeks of our Utah trip but we still met up for 10 days and had a really good time. In 2009 Bill & I went to Savannah on another Mindful Eye workshop and had a fantastic three days at Jekyll Island, located about 2 hours from Savannah.

Mike Harris

I met Mike at the Lensbaby workshop in Savannah. Lives in Miami with a house in Barbados. I told him there was nothing in Barbados worth photographing so I won't get invited now!

Stephen Byard

I met Steve on the beach at Bamburgh, Northumberland. He was shooting the sea and I was shooting the castle. He was in my shot but I thought I could eliminate him with a bit of nearby sand. Anyway, we got talking and celebrated the evening with a couple of pints of black sheep beer. He is a pretty good photographer with quite a few international and national winners.

Andrew Davey

I met Andy at the Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye workshop with John Potter. Andy is also referred to as 'Fatty Liver' due to his personal acquaintance with a couple of ladies in the B&B he stayed at in Erbusaig. Poor Andy has a few sleepless nights watching the door of his room. Can’t say anymore!

Garry McDonald

I met Garry at the Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye workshop with John Potter in September 2009. We met again at Swaledale in 2010. We are still trying to organise our next outing but its very difficult when we are all so busy.

John Potter

As well as being a great photographer John has become a good friend. He is extremely patient and enthusiastic and is highly recommended for your photography workshops.

Craig Humphrey

Craig and I met at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in September 2007. We seemed to be drawn to each other in a very inexplicable way. He likes to think I am one of his research studies, I guess he never encounterered a Yorkshire man before! He visited us in 2010 and Elaine & I will be going to Boston in 2011 and staying with Craig and Mary for a few days.

Larry Jackson

I first met Larry, and his wife to be, Debbie, at the beginning of 2010 on the Martin Bailey Photo Tour in Japan. Larry and Debbie recently got married and during their brief stopover in London we got together again. Larry is a keen wildlife photographer and his bird and underwater photographs are particularly impressive. We are hoping to get together in 2011.

Photography Websites

The Mindfull Eye

Formally RadiantVista.com, I had the pleasure to meet Craig Tanner at Grand Teton in 2007, Zion in 2008 and Savannah in 2009. The TME website is a inspiration to photography.

Mark Johnson Photography

Formally RadiantVista.com, I had the pleasure to meet Mark at Grand Teton in 2007 and Zion in 2008. His Photoshop podcasts can be downloaded every Thursday. Good listening for walking the dogs on a Saturday morning when Elaine is working.
